Yogurt Based Pastry Crust
*This pastry crust is best when spiced and many recipes will ask you to add cheese, pepper, red pepper flakes, and other spices to help this fat-free dough reach its potential. Feel free to experiment!
Yogurt Based Pastry
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup yogurt
- 3-4 tbsp cold water
- Prepare crust. In a food processor, combine flour, and salt. Next, add yogurt and water. Process until mixture resembles rough breadcrumbs.
- Pour mixture onto table and shape into a flattened disc and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until needed (about 1 hour).
- Use as directed by recipe.
